Hey 10scDust; most fam camps & other outdoor rec activities are allowed for civilian employees of D.O.D., on a Space A basis. Different Commands can (& sometimes do) limit or expand the normal permitted categories which include (but not limited to): Retired, Active, Reserve/Guard when on orders, Service Academy Cadets (all branches), when on leave, M.O.H. recipients, 100% Disabled Veterans, & the Dependent family members of all of the above...The Smith Lake Ft Bragg Army Travel Camp is where I'm at right now & they also permit access to employees of Ft Bragg's Aafees & PX on a Space A basis
