Not sure about your coach but on mine behind the slide molding there are some strategically positioned L shaped (angle) brackets that contact the wall when the slide is fully extended. If I were to measure I believe there would be a gap of between 1/2 to 1 inch between the bracket and the molding so the molding would always appear to be away from the wall. I'm not positive on the number but I believe each slide has between 4 and 6 brackets installed.
My prior class c had a similar bracket system as well.
