Ahhhh!!

You sir, are correct! Not only is it a water pump. It's a very cheap pump at that. It's a WFCO Artis PDS1-130-12, Under $20 on Ebay!

Well, at least I have always used one of those blue Camco in-line filters on the hose!! At least there are no big chunks of debris in the system.


Next project... install a whole-house water filter.
