ok, got it off, now another question ?


once i got it up and out of the way, there was a length of round rubber seal dangling from the rear down into the engine area. i see where there's one up at the firewall but don't see where this one goes.
and it's no wonder this this was loud, the factory did a horrible job of putting the heat foil in, and yes, it was JUST the foil, no foam, no insulation.
it never surprises me the pride people take in their jobs...
anyway, any idea where that seal might go ? it had the tape adhesive at one time.
