I checked for power to the thermostat and it was there but rather weak. I changed the red wire to the other red terminal and instantly the A/C came on (which is kind of weird as the thermostat was set on heat) but it was running. I shut off the A/C and set-up the heat to run and it RAN!! Nice heat came out. THANK YOU to all of you who tried to help me figure it out. I love learning new things even if it is frustrating
