On our RV, the inverter supplies 120vac only to the entertainment system outlets, the TV's, where the DVD player has an outlet in a cabinet near a TV, etc, but not anything on our 120vac breaker panel.
The inverter has its own reset breaker on it, a pop out button type.
It draws off the 12vdc power board if plugged to shore power, or while Generator is running, via the converter.
If not those power sources, from the coach batteries, if the "use" switched to "use" position.

No reason for the inverter to be left on, unless curious to see if TV is still working.

If you store with it plugged to shore power, leave the use/store switch on use, so it maintains your coach batteries charge, and with a good working battery isolator relay module system, chassis battery maintained at the same time.
