Very true! A good old "Chuck Norris" smack may do it. I use this lubricant for that seal and all the others...doors, storage bays, driver and passenger doors seals, rubber gaskets behind the windows...everything. It keeps them from sticking, protects them from drying out and adds an extra layer of sealant. Rub a little bit with a cloth on the mating surface as well as the rubber gaskets.
