Another Thor flaw fixed
So tell me... have you ever seen "butyl putty" tape use to seal sewer pipes on RV??
Window = Yes, Roof vents = Yes.... Now 3 inch black tank drain lines??
Well guess what after 2 years I had a small drip where the pipes conect to the back tank.
So they put the two joints together with butyl tape then covered the seam with a hose clamp... and thats it. For real. I took one picture (kinda blurrie - sorry) after I removed the clamp and cleaned it up some.
I used some pipe tape (rubber stretch tape) to seal then connected the the two pipes with a rubber hose and two hose clamps.
Should be good to go for 7 + years (I hope) and its easliy removable for future repairs to drain line or the black tank removal, or to replace the slide valve for the black tank dump.
