I was always working from the "wrong end of the cable" 
With the new rig: I'm trying something different... 
When I'm winding the cable up for storage: I start at the power bay.
I open up the "trap-door", and start making loops of cable in the bay. I wind it up as I go, and the plug ends up sitting on the top of the pile: ready to be used as a starting point for the next time I need to wind it out.
But it's a cramped area, and does take longer. Has anyone found an easier way to do this? |
You would think a Tiffin would have an electric retracting cord reel built in:
