As stated previosly, many have done it without modifying or replacing the end links with longer versions without reporting any issues.
If you want to maintain the same sway bar angle you can either remove them and have someone cut and extend them (to 14" center to center) by adding a section of tube steel over the cut ends, welding (remove bushing firat so they dont melt) and reinstalling, or buy the Helwig adjustable links (~$80, your can find the exact part number on the IRV2 forum). Adjust the links to 14", and use the bushings, sleeves and bolts from the old link or you will need to get some different bolts to match the holes on the link and bar.
