It seems like someone mentioned last year that you could NOT add refrigerant to the RV type AC units. But I may be wrong.
But a month ago I came across a Youtube were an AC guy added a port to the low (or was it high) pressure line (some sort of self tap connector simular to taping into a copper line for ice maker on a frig). Do a search for something like that. It was very informative.
