I had similar issues
This is the Atwood unit
So I took off the outside panel
Turned off and disconnected propane inlet to furnace
Disconnected all the electrical connectors
Took out the three screws holding the “carburetor”
Then a can of pressurized air and blew everything out several ways and times
Then made sure the spark unit was clean and close to the flame assembly
Then put it all back together
It’s worked ever since
Sometimes it sparks three times and then goes off
But generally by next rotation it started up and worked flawlessly
I generally run it once a month to keep it fresh
