If you loosen the bushing bolts you won't need the jack. I took my sway bar completely off, put poly lube on the bushings ( only lube that should go on the poly bushings) and reinstalled. Now the bar moves easy

Remember if you loosen those bolt to blue loctite them and torque to 66 ft lbs

If you don't loosen them a small bottle jack will move them easily

I've done at least 5 chf some with lube some without. Never a problem
