The DOT says that is illegal for manufacturers of motor homes to mix exhaust streams. Same restrictions on use of flexible steel sections in MC exhaust systems. Where and how exhaust streams exit the MCs is highly regulated by the DOT. These restrictions are the same as the EPA restrictions for pollutants for vehicle manufacturers. You can modify the exhaust but no reputable shop should.
