Hi, sorry I am not familiar with your coach or ladder specifics but there is a ladder failure post on this forum that includes some construction info that may help your handyman understand what is required. Of course I am assuming that most RV ladders have similar build techniques.....but I could be wrong. At least it might be good reading until an expert on your coach ladder chimes in.
