We've stayed in San Francisco many times and always take our towed when we stay at the San Francisco RV Resort in Pacifica. Yep the traffic is a mess and we just kinda go with it to see and do our favorite stops. Pacifica is close to the freeway and fairly easy access to SAN Francisco. Our daughter and her brood live in San Mateo so that's always a stop.
