Does your Four Winds have a "water bay" with a valve/switch that you have to change when on city water vs internal? (Most of the Thor motorhomes don't have this: just hookup and it works but you never know.)
Do you fill the hose before connecting up? (Running the water through the hose before connecting to the city water connection eliminates all the spitting and air in the system. In addition, it helps purge the hose of anything before connected to the system.)

There isn't any sort of switchover device. I'm sure it's designed to work by just hooking up water since that's what it does most of the time.
I'll try filling the hose. Thanks for that suggestion.
