But I’d like to see Whirnot’s running avg/total as his trip progresses.
That’s why I asked him to keep us posted along the way.

For me? I’m boring, averaging 60mph on the highway, rarely exceeding 65mph, and only occasionally running generator to keep the rear cool until stopped and boon-docked.
Falling below 10 MPG is rare for me, usually in the range of 10.5-11 MPG.
(My other car is a Prius, so I’m used to subdued driving)
Yeah I have a hard time driving below the speed limits. I will start out at 68 mph but with hills and traffic I end up creeping north of 70 every time. And I accelerate like im in a sedan (when its safe). I dont let it rev above 3K RPM's (if I can help it) in any given gear..... so its not like im hot roding.

Since im not retired I always feel like im in a rush to get to where I need to go. Perhaps when I retire I will feel more relaxed? Who knows.

I turned off the Genny for an hour on our way back home last weekend but it was like 88 deg outside and humid. The Dash AC just dont cut it for us. I guess we could try a curtain to trap the cold air but we like the open feel of the RV.

I think if we go on a long trip I might try an curtain (or sheet) to see how it goes. Most of our trips are weekend only and within 300 miles of home so it dont seem worth it.

Most of the time the Genny is running. We feel more relaxed in the cool air.
