Maybe - what are your interests as far as sightseeing, events, etc.?
If you want a nice, out of the way, full hookup campground, Whispering River in Walland, Tenn. is one we've enjoyed; reasonable rates. Sits on Little River, away from all the craziness in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, yet an easy drive there if you care to partake.

Cades Cove campground is more primitive, but fills up pretty quickly in the fall. Beautiful setting in the valley near Townsend.
Several commercial campgrounds in Townsend, all pretty nice but a bit pricey, especially in the fall.
