Well, we head out today. Our plan is to try not to drive more than 4 hours per day. We have our complete route planned and inputted into an app called RV parky. It helps us find camp and RV spots, and has contact info. Looks good so far.

We are planning gas stops a maximum of 450 miles apart, so even 8.5 miles per gallon will get us there. We are using gas buddy for fuel planning and it really helps save. The good news is gas is down some, we may be as much as .40 per gal under initial budget.

The bad news is temperatures are looking to be in the high 90s for the next few days. And our first stop is a hot springs?

We are also using the Roadside America website to find some obscure and unusual places to visit.
Yes, we are obviously anal when it comes to planning. Head em up! Move em out!
