My rear passenger outside compartment has the same problem, water gets in whenever it rains. I figured it was the door weatherstripping and got some at Home Depot that fit, but the weatherstripping isn't the issue. I took everything out and completely dried it and turned the hose on the side of the rv and water is getting in not around the compartment door weatherstripping but at the door frame where mounts to the RV. It's not sealed and water gets through (and bypasses the door seal in the process) and runs into the compartment. I don't really see how the door frame is secured to the side of the RV (so I can remove it and completely seal) so my plan is to clean off as much of any gooey sealant they have around the frame and seal it with silicone RTV. Probably this weekend then I'll test again to confirm that's the issue.
