Cheap Handling Fix - F53 Chassis

Yes, I know there are probably dozens of threads on this topic already. But I want to say that if anyone is on the fence about making this modification, DO IT! A couple of wrenches, a bottle jack to raise the sway bar, and a piece of cardboard to lie on - all it takes to make the change.
I did ours a few days ago, and its first test was yesterday, on our way to the Florida Fall Sunshine Rally from Tennessee. Made the first leg of the trip (350 miles) yesterday to St. George SC, and very pleased with the change that the fix made to the road manners of the ACE.

Very slight push from passing 18-wheelers, not nearly as severe as before, and the coach doesn't seem to wander as it did. The only thing I did notice is that when the tires "caught" on the shoulder or in grooves in the pavement, it kinda had a mind of its own and would waver a bit. I believe a steering stabilizer is in our future...

Anyway, thanks to all who have blazed this trail!

Cheers,
Mickey
