Hope this is resolved by now! You don't need a locksmith, and they can't fix it anyway. No drill required, just a phillips screwdriver as was already mentioned.
Once you have it removed and the broken latch parts out of the way, you can put the latch back on and secure the door with the deadbolt. Then call Kevin at TriMark. You'll have a replacement part in a few days.
This happened to us last weekend, as reported in the thread about the St Augustine rally.
