Have you run the generator under a heavy load with the fuel shut off valve and fuel filter? What is the size of your generator? I wonder if the shut off will allow enough fuel flow for high demand situations? If your generator works well with the filter and shut off, I will do the same to mine. Thanks for posting the information.
