Operating the slides in an un-level condition can put undue stress on the slide motors causing problems. But then again, if something happened with the slides it would be a Thor quality issue rather than an operator head space issue.

The over night stops without use of slides is why we stayed away from rigs that have to have the bed elevated to retract the slide.
Don't have to deploy levelers to be level.
