Some adapters are ONE WAY.
you need a phone to hdmi cable.
Mine works fine on an axxera TV.
Not all phones will output through their hdmi/USB port.
(I know you've addressed some of these, but they're for others who might be failing at this)
There's about six different combinations of incompatability, but the TV is the only thing that doesn't care. Input is input to an axxera. If you want to check the TV anyway, plug something else into all input hdmi slots and make sure your slot is good.

Try your phone and cable on one of your other brand tv's.
