I think the Axis/Vegas units have been lucky in that they haven't suffered the worst of Thor quality (setting aside the one unit whose rear axle locked up and the E350 shifter cable problem).
We have 9000 miles on ours and have had it almost two years now (wow). So far the only major issue is/was the shifter cable problem (but since you both are purchasing new you can have the dealer inspect that
before driving it out the door).
