The real key to getting a good deal is being informed, show or no. It is easier than ever to compare units and prices. (More complicated when a trade in is involved.) A smart shopper will call competing dealers to compare the show price to what dealers will do. Beware the delivery and fees, as recently discussed on this forum. Get an out the door price.

Purchasing a big item in December or January that will just sit until June will cost big time in interest and depreciation. I've seen folks do that. That said, you might not want to pick up a new coach and take off on a 5,000 mile trip. (We did that with our Vegas, and it worked out OK!)

Sorry Dave, from my personal experience, I'm not a fan of end of model year deals. You forgo the improvements, and suffer lower value when you go to trade or sell. I did that with my last coach, it seemed good at the time, but looking back it wasn't my best deal.

Happy hunting!
