Just a cautionary tale told in pictures.
It didn't break off in my hand but it was broken clean through.
I'll either lathe turn an aluminum knurled and engraved bar to replace the plastic one or just go buy an ADA bathroom stainless bar.
Mine was 17"top screw to bottom screw.
The new one willl be through-bolted and back plated.
