I like the idea of a narrow dinette also, and believe Thor should offer one as an option to the couch. I think dinettes offer more seating, and most importantly, offer forward-facing seating.
The main disadvantage to a dinette for me is that seats don't face the TV over the door. However, since some models already have a dinette, it can't be that big a deal.
