what do you mean by 'experiencing outages'? Do you mean your 'surge protector' is cutting out your electrical? Or that the power pedestal's breaker is tripping?

With what your usage you describe, it doesn't sound like an overuse of amperage, but more like your 'protector' is trying to 'protect' you.... crazy. I've not ever used any type of 'protector' for over 100,000 miles in every state and most all Canada provinces, with all types and kinds of electrical situations and scenarios and narry any problem...

secondarily, though, it's known that some campground breakers are just weak from overuse by so many RVrs plugging and unplugging and flipping on and off the breakers at the pedestal... this causes an 'oversensitive' breaker that can trip way too soon, making you 'think' you've done something wrong.

Remove your 'protector' and see if the same things happen.

if not, the 'protector' may be your issue.

if so, have the campground replace/change out your pedestal's breaker for a new one.
