My solution

First, Thanks for this thread.
I had already swapped my standard locks for cylinder locks. Last weekend, I used FW28z's idea and put a combination lock on one of the basements. Now as long as I can remember a 3 digit code, I have a second set of keys inside.

Once again I caution against remote locks. 1)They don't work on a dead battery and 2) they are too easily cloned in the parking lot. You go into an amusement park or a chain restaurant and come out to a ransacked RV.
