Blame, or give credit to, Fastenal first and then snap on, craftsman and mac.
The only tool I know that will handle all types of bolts and screws is the trusty smoke wrench.  The smoke wrench will remove any screw, bolt nut along with any parts nearby.  |
Ultimately it was someone at Thor who purchased the hex screws in bulk. They were delivered and used in the assembly process. The tool makers had nothing to do with it!!!
