I do too. In fact I run lines directly to both batteries so I can charge either or both. I run them inside the coach, so I can leave the solar panel inside the front window when I am gone. But it is also easy to run a second lead off the house battery to run a line outside the coach, under the step. In my Vegas, I ran the line from the step inside the coach but my wife did not like the line sticking out if the step. So in my Axis, I ran it under the floor and thru the "dog house" so you do not see any line.
