The F-53 Ford chassis is bulletproof and quite reliable and durable. It is built to last a long time as is the V-10. It is a heavy truck chassis, and made to carry heavy loads. It does not handle very well in a motorhome application. My 2010 Tiffin was top-heavy and felt it, handled poorly on the highway with cross-winds and semi-trucks. I installed Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer, lined up the front end, installed heavier anti-sway bars, and a track bar for the rear axle. Amazing Improvement. Spent about 3 grand, but if you plan to keep the coach for a long time, it is worth the expense to be rid of white-knuckle driving, and a massive improvement in safety.
