The E rated tires are adequate, but depending on the model and gvw, there's not very much to play with. I went with the G rated tire to give me an extra cushion. They are a 14 ply tire and carry 110 psi. As for the E rated Marathons, I won't get into the China thing. It seems like many of our tires nowdays are made in foreign countries along with many other things. I can say I've had good luck with Goodyear's, and the one time I did have a problem they treated me excellent.
