We stop at interstate welcome centers when it fits our travel schedule. Yes, we walk out with a few brochures if we'll be in that state for awhile. With aps like Tripadvisor, All-Stays, RVParky, Waze, and GMaps, we don't rely on them like we did in days past. The workers there are still good sources of information.
We had a great day a Mackinac Island last summer, and would recommend it highly. We stayed at Tiki RV campground in St. Ignace. It was basic, but all we needed.
