I wasn't thinking about any particular motorhome, but rather looking for insight on how RVs are marketed, and how that affects their design. Products seem to be developed for a certain niche market with well-defined boundaries.
While it's easy to see that larger Class Cs can't be built on Sprinters, which presently have a maximum GVWR of only 11,030 pounds, it's not as obvious to see what's keeping Thor, Winnebago, Coachmen, etc. from building compact Class Cs (similar to Siesta and Synergy) on lower GVWR range of Ford E-Series Cutaway.
