Road Schooling

Does anyone travel with children and do cyber/home schooling? If so, can you offer any tips or links to online resources that would help us out? We have a 10 and 7 year old (girl/boy) and we are looking to spend at least a full year on the road.

Our children currently do an online cyber school through the Pennsylvania school system and it works out really well. We're looking to continue this method of schooling at least for another year while on the road, but things like connectivity costs seem high for the bandwidth you can get (looking at the Verizon HotSpot data-only plans).

I also will be working on the road, and as a software developer, I will need just about every bit of the bandwidth that comes with these plans for my work, which leaves very little for the schooling which involves audio/video conferencing for live lessons at least three or four hours per week, per kid.

Thanks for any helpful tips any of you might provide. We're also not opposed to pure home schooling, although we'd prefer a more managed approach with lesson plans and a teacher who isn't the parent too.

Thanks,

Charlie
