Generator Installed on Incorrect Side
2015 Thor Hurricane Model 34F
I recently purchased the above unit used and with warmer weather began having problems with the generator shutting down because of over heating as per Rv repair dealer. The problem persisted and I took the unit to a cummins dealer who immediately recognized the generator had been installed by Thor on the wrong side of the coach. The generator is designed to be used only on the drivers side of the coach for proper air flow. Thor at first denied this occurred but later said this is a warranty issue and the warranty only applies for the first owner or one year.
Has anyone else had experience with this issue?
