I put a hose into the gallon jug of the pink stuff, turn on the water pump and make pink ice cubes. Be sure to take the water filter out of the refrigerator beforehand. Once I have pink ice, I disconnected the water line to the refrigerator and leave it disconnected until I am ready to dewinterize.
