If it just started doing it, it may be a bad hose or hose connection. I had that problem on a Ford pickup (I know it's not directly related to your motorhome, but they are all very similar).

To minimize the problem until I could fix it, I only filled it around 3/4 full. That seemed to help a little but not much. My hose was cracked near tank so leaving it full wasn't helping.
