Did you have issues with the engine? I have the same engine and close to the same weight but I get 18-22 MPG. I would check with Mercedes and see what the issue is.
I agree that it can go anywhere. If a car can go, the Sprinter can go...except fast food drive throughs. But then, we shouldn't go there anyway. Maybe that the RV industry's was of telling us to eat healthy.
