I have both outlets as well...
The part that wasn't answered yet is whether that 12v is powered by the coach or the chassis.
We've proved here many times that there is no one answer to what feeds what... even for the same model. In my case, that 12v outlet is on the chassis - but doesn't matter as when I'm driving, or on shore power, the chassis battery is being charged as well (again seemed not to be something consistent.)

Easy test - place coach battery in 'Store' and see if the 12v outlet works.

I don't have a (built in) inverter - so the 110 outlet is dead unless on shore power or generator.
