Yeah, I like that also. In small RVs having a dedicated bed(s) is a space-costly luxury.

What I liked about the Winnebago design is that the lower bunk hinged up against the back wall (if I recall correctly) which left plenty of room to stand bikes, including a tandem or two. Even with bed in sleeping position there is a lot of room under bed for long items.
