How about both?

If you do research, you will likely find data that slides or slide-related issues are the number one reported problem with RVs requiring repairs or service.

Having said that, not all slides have problems so it's a little bad luck for those that it happens to.


This has been the case before the Schwintech design so it's just an inherent issue with making anything more complicated or with greater numbers of moving parts. Not judging slides, just saying there is a risk to owning them. Some owners are obviously luckier than others.
