For us: We both work and our son is just starting High School. This means a few weekend trips with one long trip during the summer. Our 2014 Axis has about 9500 miles on it so far after the 3 seasons we've had it (which includes trips to the "bottom" of FL, the "top" of MI, DC, and STL).

I know it's open and vague, but figured to see what other people experience. Married.. still working.. 2 kids. 2.5 yrs and 6months.. Did I mention I'll be still working for a WHILE

I think it's a once a month trip for us and a couple longer trips. I couldn't see us driving more than 8,000 to 10,000 a year for a while.
