right! the SHIM should be placed behind the hinge, near the bottom, to bring the door up to a proper reveal within the door frame.

we have two doors like this, but they are the doors for the Inverter bay, and the Propane bay, where both lift UP, so the situation does not pose a problem when the hinges are at the TOP.
