RVCampingNut - your setup sounds very similar to ours. We prefer to operate on preventing problems - thus our TPS and surge protection.
As an aside - I guess the systems need a way to prevent use when the ignition is turned on but darn if the Rapid Camp System is what I use from a design concept to be the likely candidate.
In hindsight I could have saved a lot of time and energy just knowing where everything was BEFORE I needed to trouble shoot.
