I'm wondering if there are significant downsides to this design? On the surface it looks like they would be used a lot more unless cost is much higher.




By the way, I agree they look streamline. I also like that there is nothing to walk into down low (assuming not all motorhomes are very tall), or arms to interfere with doors opening, etc.

Mostly I like that on smaller motorhomes with large MegaStorage compartments in back, the awning can be much longer than it could be otherwise. With these I assume the awning can run to rear corner of motorhome regardless of windows or compartment doors below.
